A complete refurbishment of a six-storey 1950’s commercial building

The alterations involved extending the lift shaft to a new roof terrace, new double-glazed windows, sustainable finishes and upgraded insulation. New building services included removal of the oil-fired heating system, new VRF heating and cooling, heat recovery ventilation and air source heat pumps. The energy efficient solution achieved an A-rated EPC.

The CAT B fit out works for the tenant, David Chipperfield Architects, included a new shopfront and entrance. Robson Warren Architects provided full architectural services including contract administration.
